Pink Shirt Day on Friday

Please join R15 on Pink Shirt Day Friday, May 20th, 2022. 

Wear a pink shirt, dress, or shorts, and bring a gold coin donation for the mental health foundation. Be the change and stand up with us to bring awareness around bullying, by standing together and speaking up.

Welcome to Week 6 Term 1

Kia ora and welcome to week 6.   We had a lovely two days swimming with Henk last week.  We are so fortunate to benefit from his expertise.  We will be swimming every day for the next three weeks.  Please remember to bring your swimming gear every day. We are impressed with the independence shown by many of our students in completing their "must do's" across the week.  Keep up the good work.  Quite a number are doing a bit of Maths-Whizz at home every day and have got 4 progressions or more for the week.  Our library days are as follows: Rm 15 - Tuesdays Rm 17 and Rm 16 - Wednesdays News from Mr Macmillan: Covid -   If your child tests positive you need to let the school know ( even if the child had already been isolating or away from school).   End of year FUN DAY!!! Monday - Tomorrow!!! To our wonderful whanau, Tomorrow, the 5th of December, the Year 0, 1, 2, 3’s will be having an end of year fun day at school. We will be having some fun outdoor activities, some water play, and Christmas crafts. We will also be having an organised lunch together. Outdoor Activities We will have a camp-like setting for these.  Activities include hut making, campfire, roasting marshmallows, burma trail. Water Play Pool and slip and slide Lunch Rooms 15, 16 and 17  will be sharing their lunch together.  We will have hot chips and hotdogs,  ice blocks, and treats for the Christmas crafts.  Please bring $5 each. What to bring Children can come to school in mufti on this day. Swimming gear - togs and towels. School sun hat. Water bottle. A small morning tea to eat. Money for our lunch.
