Week 10, Term 3 2022.

  Monday, 26 September 2022 Weekly Notice - Term 3, Week 10   Welcome to Week 10, the last week of Term 3 2022. The October School Holidays start at the end of the week, as does the new fishing season on Saturday the First, so everybody can probably guess what Mr Bach will be doing all day Saturday! I am still battling with COVID that my husband lovingly shared with me, but I hope to be back on deck on Wednesday all going to plan.  This week we have our School Production, Little Red Rocking Hood that will dominate proceedings, with a Dress Rehearsal on Tuesday and matinee and evening shows on Wednesday and Thursday. The evening shows are sold out but there are still tickets available for the matinee shows. Mrs Trask has done a magnificent job with her organisation and direction of the show and we are looking forward to seeing children in action. Some parents and caregivers still need to send in production clothes for their children. Please see the notice sent home or last week's b

  Weekly Notices, Term 3, Week 9 Welcome, all parents and caregivers to Week 9. Unfortunately Covid has finally caught me so we will have a wonderful reliever in to teach Ruma 15. this week With Spring well and truly in the air we have been exploring the world around us and noticing the changes that this brings.  We have also been exploring the extraordinary life of Queen Elizabeth II with the children displaying special interest in Castles and Flags. If students could bring in small cardboard boxes. tubes etc, they will be able to design and create their own castles this week. There are now only two weeks until the holidays at the end of Term 3. A reminder that next week on Monday the 26th of September we will be commemorating the Queen's passing with a one-off public holiday and therefore there will be no school on this day.  Kia ora whanau! We have some fabulous authors in our classroom that have filled their current book with wonderful work and now they need a new one for their future masterpieces. The photos above and below are examples of books that we use in class currently. Please ask your child if they need one if they haven't let you know already.   Weekly Notices, Term 3, Week 8 Bonjour and welcome to a very busy Week 8 as final preparations are made for our school production. There are only 3 weeks left in the term now and we are all looking forward to Spring ramping up properly as Winter tries to keep a grip on things. Children have all recently been tested in The Structured Literacy spelling test and are all showing good progress. School Production - Little Red RockingHood Mrs Trask has been doing a wonderful job as director of our school production, a production which is starting to come together nicely.
